"Home Grown Beauty"
Quick tag I created for a YT challenge. My first time using my BigShot & embossing folders & I love the effect. I used some copper embossing powder by Ranger over the raised background. Then I sprayed front & back with my new Lindy's Stamp Gang spray in Golden Lump O' Coal. I really like the vintage feel of the tag & flowers. Well that's it for today, till next time!

"Copper Leaves"
Trying to stay pinch proof...lol...well I'll share a bit more green then. This is another faux copper clay pendant, "Copper Leaves". This one has a glass pebble over a faux Malachite background. The bail is copper & hand formed & baked into the clay. The bezel is antiqued with some Pearl-Ex powders & a satin sealer.
Story/Journey Charms
I've done several of these charm sets, I call story/journey charms. I usually do a themed set of charms & beads, great for a charm bracelet or chunky charms or just as a focal piece. This set contains a transferred sunset image piece originally done in Prismacolor pencils & transferred to the clay while still uncured.
Well I hope everyone has a great St. Patrick's Day & don't forget the green!

The Beauty of Age
ElDorado Emerald
Well, while I'm working on another bigger project I thought I'd share a few more pieces of polymer clay jewelry. Both of these piece have the same clay mix in the center stone. The first pieces is "The Beauty of Age". I used a rusting medium for the rusty patina & copper painted clay screw heads for the centers of the gears. I really liked how the clay took the rust medium. Nice effect!
The second piece is "El'Dorado Emerald". I really like the warn golden tones of the bezel with the bright green of the center stone. The center stones are a mix of transparent & green, pearl & green, transparent & several different glitters. All sanded & buffed then sealed with a gloss sealer.
