"Relics from Ancient Times"

Hi everyone, Lyn Gill here again & today I have a real treat for you with this fun wall plaque I created using the Prima "Iron Orchid Designs" molds. These mold are perfect for using with resin in your designs.

First I used Amazing Casting Resin and a bit of Alumilite Metallic Powder in Gold in these IOD molds for the Cherub.

I placed him on a plaque I made with a bit of "Foam Core Board" that you can get even at the dollar type stores. I then added some details with Moldeling Paste through a stencil & once that dried I painted the "plaque" with acrylic paints & sprays. To this I then placed my Amazing Clear Cast molded face to the "plaque" & added more Modeling Paste for the hair & let dry once again.

I then added some glitters & some Silver Leaf to the background before covering the whole piece with Amazing Clear Cast Resin for the perfect finish!

I'm really enjoying these IOD Molds & I think you will too, they can be used in many ways with many products. With Amazing Casting Resin & Amazing Clear Cast you can't go wrong they really are the perfect pairing!

Thank you all for stopping by today I've enjoyed sharing my process on this fun Wall Plaque with you...Till Next Time!
What will you create with these fun molds?

WereWolf Moon Pendant

Hello everyone, Lyn Gill here again & I've got a fun project just in time for Halloween! So enjoy that party in style & be the talk of the town...

First I started with my Amazing Mold Putty Moon mold (an oldie but a goodie) & an Amazing Mold Putty Wolf mold I created as well. I used Amazing Clear Cast Resin & Alumilite Dye in the Moon mold & I used polymer clay for the Wolf mold then used silver metal leaf under the Moon to make it really shine.

This was such a fun project, perfect for Halloween! As a Jewelry Artist I'm always trying to mix it up a bit & combining elements is a must. Mixing these two mold was a natural.

"To the Moon & Back" Amazing Casting Resin & Swellegant Pendant

Hi everyone, Lyn Gill here again to bring you a small pendant I created from Amazing Mold Putty & Amazing Casting Resin...
I first started with an original of mine...the Moon Face. Which I molded using Amazing Mold Putty as well as the gear that my Husband found in the parking lot...lol.

I cast both of these in the Amazing Casting Resin & a little Alumilite dye in Black. Then using a few more smaller gears I put this piece together. This time I used a little metal paint & patina by Swellegant on the Amazing Casting Resin & I really loved the results!

What rusty goodness can you find around to make an Amazing Mold Putty mold out of?

Well thanks so much for stopping by today...Till Next Time!

Christmas Tree Ornaments

Hi All, Lyn Gill here again with an Amazing Mold Rubber project for you.
First of all I know it's not quite time to start Christmas projects but I always wait till the last minute to think about how I'm going to decorate my tree. This year I decided to start early...lol. I started with an old hollow decoration from a wreath I had dismantled...

He's cute but I wasn't too wild about the color & I needed more of them so Amazing Mold Rubber was the answer. In a disposable plastic cup I molded the little cherub with the Amazing Mold Rubber & let it set up. Then using Amazing Casting Resin I fill the mold & let it set up & he turned out so cute I was actually shocked when I de-molded him!

I painted him a lovely Turquoise color then added some crackle glaze & a bit of clear glitter and now he's adorable isn't he?!
What will you mold with Amazing Mold Rubber? The possibilities are endless!

Well thanks so much for stopping by today...Till Next Time!

A Little Update!

As some of you may know I suffered a Heart Attack & subsequent Open Heart Double By-Pass Surgery back in May. It took 2 long months in the Hospital & rehab to get back to where I am today...Blessed & so happy to be alive! I had the best Surgical Team & Nurses & am so thankful to them for everything they've done for me!
All of your thoughts & prayers gave me strength & peace of mind to completely trust that all would be fine & I'm so happy to say that I came through it all with flying colors! Although I'm still a bit wobbly on my feet I'm improving every day & should be back on YT very soon.
Until then I've only been doing small projects to keep my creativity flowing...it's only a small Texture Journal 4"x4" & I used DecoArt products as well as some Primary Elements to get the effects.

It's so good to be back in the Studio again & I'm looking so forward to getting back to my New Self...lol...I feel like I've been given a second chance at life & I want to take advantage of every minute of it!
Thank you so much for stopping by & for your support! Till Next Time!
