3 ingredient cabochons

Here's another variation on the rolled inclusion bead tutorial...3 ingredient cabochons...transparent clay(your fave brand) I used Premo accents transparent & Premo Frost(I'd never tried it before), acrylic paints & micro fine glitter(Walmart). In this tutorial I tried to use supplies readily available to most everyone. I really love the finished look of these freeform Cabochons & beads...glazed or unglazed they have a wonderful organic feel to them...

Several of these cabochons, the 3 larger cabs up the middle are just 2 ingredient beads...transparent clay & glitter. You could even go the other route & use just transparent clay & acrylic paint. The possibilities are almost endless. I enjoy creating these cabs so much that I think I'll make another batch today!
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend & thanks so much for stopping by...Till Next Time!

Retro Valentine's Day Radio w/tag mini

And now for something completely different...lol...A retro Valentine's Day Radio with loose Tag mini. I had such a great time stepping out of my comfort zone for this one. Not my usual color pallet for sure...no sprays or embossing powders & no metallic finishes! Using MME Lucky in Love paper line & some of my own embellishments along with just a bit of bling, I think it turned out super cute!

I used quite a few of my handmade flowers, did some masking & created a few polymer clay pieces to complete the retro look. The little foam music notes came from the dollar store & the butterfly was a gift. The little unbound tag mini has some vintage themed valentines & places for photos & journaling. A really cute, super fun project for sure. Thank you so much for stopping by...Till Next Time!

Christmas Themed Book Box

Here's a lovely Christmas Book Box I created for a one on one swap I was asked to do for December. This is Gina(Gina Lindsey on YT) & I's second swap. We were to create three projects...we would each chose one for us both to do then we would each do a surprise creation for each other. I chose ATCs, she chose chunky charms & for her suprise...the book box.
  So first, the ATC card...

Lol...Ok so for everything else you'll just have to watch the video because I forgot to take the still shots.
Well a bit of a cut short post but I do have more to come so stay tuned! Thank you so much for stopping by...Till Next Time!

"Believe in the Journey" Mixed Media Shrine

Hi everyone & welcome to 2014! Sorry it's taken me so long to get around to posting but I have been busy at least. This is an inspirational piece that I created to commemorate the opening of my new etsy shop so of course its a store front with lots of clay pieces in grungy aged metal finishes. I've used loads of different products in this one...LSG sprays & embossing powders, Ranger embossing powders, acrylic paints, patinas & a bit of Inka Gold to finish it off nicely. My motto for the year is "Believe in the Journey" & not the destination...that parts inevitable...lol. I had so much fun creating this piece of wall art, it's truly my passion. Grungy, steampunky, metallicy  goodness & shimmery, sparkliness...what a combo!

"Believe in the Journey"
I've included the video because there's simply too much to cover here. So for all the details on the clay pieces & their finishes/textures please check out the video.
I hope everyone's having a great start to the New Year & Believe in the Journey...It's going to be awesome!
Thanks so much for stopping by...Till Next Time!
