"Treasure from the Tidepool" is a mixed media altered box I created using the K&Co Tim Coffee Travel collection, LSG sprays(Gossamer Gold, Mission Bells Brown, Cocoa Bean Copper & Frosted Forget-Me-Nots) Americana Acrylic paints(Persimmon & Antique Gold) & lots of my handmade flowers & polymer clay embellishments. I really like the way the piece turned out, like it just washed up on shore.

 In the Oak forest around our home live the most beautiful fairies. I'm often awed by them & their natural habitat. Today I'd like to share a series of polymer clay pendants inspired by these amazing fairies.

These pieces are created using a colored pencil image transfer of my original artwork, topped with Magic Gloss UV Resin. The piece on the bottom left is the exception as it is topped with clear embossing powder. "Goin' My Way" Retro Pin-Up Girl Tag I created for a challenge on YT from Jane, AlterJunkie. We were to create a tag using a pin-up girl image, a feather & bling. I did some embossed foil tape, some LSG sprays, some heat embossing & used a bit of Stickles & I think it turned out great. Look at me...using pink in two projects in a row. That's gotta be a record...lol.

"The Wings of Love" Pendant Necklace & Trinket Box.
These pieces are for a swap I did with Wendy Juhl on YT & such a fun swap it was too! I really enjoyed pulling the Prima Romance Novel collection out of my hoard vault...lol! Wendy had sent me some beads & cabochons to play with & asked if I could make a wing pendant for her. So here's what I came up with...

The Wings of Love necklace & trinket box

The box is one of the magnetic closure boxes from Dollar Tree, painted with Americana Acrylic paint in a Santa Red which I heated with my heat gun till it bubbled & then sprayed with LSG sprays glitz spritz in scintillating silver & cactus gold.

The wing pendants are created with Sculpey III polymer clay in silver & the hearts are Alizarin Crimson & transparent with MS glitter.
